In December 2007, EuroMena Limited Partnership acquired a minority stake in Wataniya. The company is the result of a merger of Baddar, a manufacturer of all kinds of corrugated carton packages, and Shorouk, a print house specialized in processing and printing of carton box. Wataniya offers three packaging types (flexible, carton/offset, and corrugated), which allows the company to be a one-stop-shop for its customer base in Egypt’s local market.

National Printing is a group of companies, consisting of Shorouk for Modern Printing & Packaging, Baddar and Uniboard. Wataniya has three production facilities with a capacity of 200k TPA.

– Shorouk for Modern Printing & Packaging is a company specializing in the production of cardboard used in packaging detergents & pharmaceuticals; processing & printing of carton boxes; in addition to printing books, novels, educational and school books. It enjoys a broad base of diversified cardboard printing customers.

– Baddar is a packaging and printing company based in Egypt.

– Uniboard produces a variety of high quality duplex boards using advanced technology, which was commissioned in Q1 2017, and has a production capacity of around 130k TPA.

The group enjoys a strong market share in folded boxes, laminated boxes, books and paper cups in Egypt. Key clients include Unilever, P&G, Pfizer, Ministry of Education in Egypt, and Henkel, among others.
