In July 2012, EuroMena II Limited Partnership acquired a minority stake in Sakson Petroleum Services a regional group operating in the Oil and Gas drilling services sector with presence in the Middle East and Africa region.

The group currently owns a fleet of 8 rigs, located in Kurdistan, Algeria, Turkmenistan, and Egypt. The capacity of this fleet ranges from 1,000 HP truck-mounted units to 3,000 HP rigs, with the ability to reach a maximum depth of 7,000 meters.
