Carbon Holdings  is a mid-to-downstream petrochemicals developer and operator founded in 2008 by Basil El Baz. The company is the principal shareholder and sponsor of a polypropylene producer and a low density ammonium nitrate producer. Furthermore, the company is planning the construction of the world’s largest naphtha cracker and associated olefin units with a capacity of 1.5 million tpa for a total project cost of c. $10.6 billion.
